We are deeply shaken by today's terrible crime and the murder of Charlie Kirk, the closest associate of US President Donald Trump, and we express our condolences to the family, to President Trump and to the entire American people.

We pray for his soul and for his family in this difficult and tragic moment.

In the name of the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York and in my own name, we strongly condemn this cowardly and deeply immoral act that interrupted a great life that promoted and glorified God and all the family and true values on which this wonderful democratic and libertarian country was founded.
