A prestigious three-day conference dedicated to the Serbian-American scientist Nikola Tesla will be held in Philadelphia from July 9–11, 2026

Organized by the Tesla Science Foundation Philadelphia, the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, and American Paradigm Schools from Philadelphia, a prestigious three-day conference dedicated to the Serbian-American scientist Nikola Tesla will be held in Philadelphia from July 9–11, 2026, with a special focus on his contribution to the development of the United States and the legacy of one of the greatest minds in human history.

This year’s conference carries special significance as it takes place during the commemoration of the 170th anniversary of Nikola Tesla’s birth, as well as the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the United States, with Philadelphia serving as the host city for this historic celebration. 

This important anniversary provides an opportunity to remember the many distinguished Serbs who lived and worked in Philadelphia, including Nikola Tesla, Mihajlo Pupin, and many others, whose work and achievements left an indelible mark on the development of science, education, and Serbian-American relations. This traditional event brings together leading experts, scientists, inventors, artists, and admirers of Tesla’s work from around the world. In addition to the aforementioned topics, this year’s conference aims to advance educational programs inspired by Tesla’s inventions, present new projects of the Tesla Science Foundation, and further strengthen cultural and scientific ties between the Republic of Serbiaand the United States of America.

During the conference, a series of panel discussions will be held on the impact of Tesla’s technologies on the modern world, with special attention given to introducing lessons about the Serbian genius into the American education system through the network of “Tesla Clubs.” As part of the official program, prestigious awards and recognitions from the Tesla Science Foundation will be presented to individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to preserving the memory of Nikola Tesla.

The participation of officials from the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York further emphasizes the national significance of this event in the field of cultural diplomacy and the promotion of Serbian scientific heritage on the international stage.
