An interactive workshop titled “With an Accent on Success” was successfully held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York

Greeting the attendees, Consul General Vladimir Božović, PhD, emphasized the importance of nurturing one’s identity, values, and cultural heritage as a source of confidence and motivation in the process of professional development, especially within the dynamic and intercultural environment of New York.

Consul General highlighted that the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York is the first consulate in the city to launch such initiatives, having organized the workshop with the support of the Office of the Mayor of the City of New York. He added that the Consulate General will continue to organize similar programs aimed at supporting our citizens in the United States.

Under the professional guidance of psychotherapist Ms. Daria Filipović, participants had the opportunity to discover their unique professional style through hands-on activities and to learn how to present it authentically in a new environment. The focus was on personal strengths, communication, and building a confident professional presence while honoring one’s cultural distinctiveness.
