Consul General Vladimir Božović, PhD, Attends Marina Arsenijević’s Humanitarian Concert in East Hampton

The special evening brought together distinguished representatives of New York and the Hamptons’ cultural, artistic, philanthropic, media, social, and business communities.

The concert was held in support of Life’s WORC, an organization dedicated to assisting individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families. Particular attention throughout the evening was devoted to solidarity with and support for children, young people, and families facing these challenges.

Marina Arsenijević delivered a spectacular multimedia piano performance, combining virtuosic live music with synchronized film and visual projections.

One of the most emotional moments of the evening was the performance of her original composition “Tesla Rhapsody,” dedicated to Nikola Tesla. The performance carried special symbolic significance, highlighting Tesla’s enduring legacy, as well as the historical ties and shared heritage connecting Serbia and the United States.

Among the distinguished guests was renowned American philanthropist and television personality Jean Shafiroff, who introduced both Life’s WORC and Marina Arsenijević, emphasizing the importance of supporting the organization’s humanitarian mission.

Also in attendance was Vicki Schneps, founder and Chair of the Board of Life’s WORC and owner of Schneps Media, along with numerous representatives of philanthropic circles, cultural institutions, the media, and the business community from the Hamptons and New York.

A gala reception followed the concert, providing guests, donors, and supporters with an opportunity to meet Marina Arsenijević and discuss support for humanitarian programs, culture, and the arts.

Consul General Božović congratulated Marina Arsenijević on her outstanding artistic performance and the success of the humanitarian evening, emphasizing that her work demonstrates how art can simultaneously promote culture and national heritage while serving a deeply humane and noble mission.

He also expressed his appreciation to the organizers, donors, and everyone whose engagement contributes to supporting individuals with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as their families.

The participation of the Consul General of the Republic of Serbia and President of SoFC provided another valuable opportunity to promote Serbia within influential cultural, philanthropic, and social circles in the United States and to further strengthen ties between Serbia and the United States.

The evening uniquely brought together Marina Arsenijević’s music, the humanitarian mission of Life’s WORC, and the timeless legacy of Nikola Tesla, conveying a powerful message that culture and compassion know no borders and remain among the strongest bridges connecting Serbia and the United States.
