They explored opportunities to further enhance cooperation, particularly in the areas of development and education, while placing special emphasis on the profound importance of cultural exchange as a pillar of understanding and solidarity between the two nations.
Conversations also touched on the remarkable natural beauty and tourism potential of both Haiti and Serbia, recognizing that the development of tourism represents a meaningful avenue for economic growth and deeper people-to-people connections between the two countries.
In that spirit, the upcoming Expo 2027, to be hosted in Belgrade, was highlighted as a landmark opportunity for Haiti to showcase its rich culture, national identity, and heritage on a truly global stage. Both sides underscored the value of such international platforms in amplifying the voices and stories of nations, fostering deeper mutual appreciation and people-to-people connections across the world.
