Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, Vladimir Božović, PhD, attended the gala dinner organized by the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU)
On this occasion, Consul General Božović expressed his gratitude for the invitation and emphasized that the evening was exceptionally pleasant and memorable, providing an opportunity to meet many representatives of the diplomatic corps and the business world. He highlighted the importance of BCIU’s mission, which, in an inspiring way, connects business leaders and the broader community, following the mission and vision of President Dwight Eisenhower, based on Christian dialogue, understanding, and mutual respect.
Consul General Božović recalled that he has been a longtime guest of the National Prayer Breakfast, which he first attended in 2001, and since then about ten times, during the terms of various U.S. presidents.
In a cordial conversation with Mr. Tichansky, Consul General Božović, as Vice President of the Society of Foreign Consuls and Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, expressed readiness to deepen cooperation and invited him to visit the Consulate premises to become more familiar with the work and goals of BCIU and explore opportunities for joint initiatives.
Consul General Božović emphasized that the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York will always support projects that contribute to strengthening international cooperation, Christian dialogue, and the connection between the diplomatic and business communities.
