Ambassador Vladimir Božović, PhD, Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York and President of the Society of Foreign Consuls in New York (SoFC), participated in the "Advancing Global Biofuels Cooperation: Key Priorities and Partnerships” session, organized by the Global Biofuels Alliance (GBA) and the Consulate General of India in New York during NY Climate Week 2026.

The session brought together representatives of the diplomatic and international community to exchange views on the development and use of sustainable biofuels, as well as their role in advancing national energy and development priorities.

The discussion highlighted the work and initiatives of the Global Biofuels Alliance, as well as its vision for further strengthening global cooperation in the field of biofuels. Particular attention was given to national strategies, areas of mutual interest, and opportunities for future cooperation.

The Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York continues to support dialogue and the exchange of experiences in areas of importance to sustainable development, energy transition, and international cooperation.
