During the meeting, the work of the International ORNI Alliance was presented. The Alliance was established with the aim of connecting Serbs around the world and building a lasting platform for cooperation among Serbian associations, organizations, and individuals. 

The Alliance places particular emphasis on preserving national, cultural, and spiritual identity, humanitarian work, cultural diplomacy, education, economic cooperation, and strengthening ties with the homeland. 

To date, more than 50 Serbian associations and organizations from different countries have been connected through the Alliance, with the goal of further developing the network and establishing connections with Serbian communities around the world, including the Serbian community in the United States. 

Particular attention was given to opportunities for cooperation with the Serbian community in New York, as well as ways in which these organizations could contribute to the work of the Consulate General and further strengthen ties between the Serbian diaspora and the homeland. 

Consul General Božović welcomed initiatives aimed at connecting Serbian associations and individuals around the world and preserving strong ties between the Serbian diaspora and Serbia. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on future initiatives and opportunities for further cooperation.
