Ambassador Vladimir Božović, PhD, Attends Reception Marking Saudi National Day

Ambassador Vladimir Božović, PhD, Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, President of the Society of Foreign Consuls in New York (SoFC), and Chairman of the Global Council of Consular Leaders of United World Leaders, attended a reception marking the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, held on October 6 at the United Nations in New York.

The reception was hosted by H.E. Dr. Abdulaziz Alwasil, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, and H.E. Abdullah Alhamdan, Consul General of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in New York.

During the reception, Ambassador Božović met with H.E. Dr. Khalilur Rahman, with whom he discussed the importance of diplomatic cooperation, strengthening relations, and fostering connections within the diplomatic and consular community in New York.

Saudi National Day, celebrated annually on September 23, is one of the Kingdom’s most important national occasions, commemorating its history, heritage, culture, and continued development.

Ambassador Božović’s attendance provided another opportunity to engage with members of the diplomatic community in New York and to further strengthen friendly relations and international cooperation.
