Ambassador Vladimir Božović, PhD, Attends Discussion on the Future of Multilateralism in New York
The discussion featured Vuk Jeremić, Professor of Practice at the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po and 67th President of the United Nations General Assembly, and Annalena Baerbock, Professor of Professional Practice at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and 80th President of the United Nations General Assembly.
The conversation focused on the future of multilateralism and the challenges facing the international community in today’s global environment, with particular attention to the role of international institutions and the importance of international cooperation.
Particular attention was given to how the multilateral system can respond to increasingly complex global challenges and how international institutions can maintain their relevance amid rapid geopolitical, economic, and social changes. The discussion also highlighted the importance of dialogue, cooperation among states, and strengthening international mechanisms for addressing issues that transcend national borders.
Ambassador Božović’s attendance provided an opportunity for engagement and exchange with members of the academic, diplomatic, and international communities in New York, while also contributing to the visibility and promotion of the Republic of Serbia on the international stage and strengthening its engagement within the broader diplomatic and multilateral community.
