Ambassador Vladimir Božović Attends the Father Benedict Groeschel Award Gala in New York

The gala took place on October 15 at The Penn Club of New York. This year’s award was presented to Christopher Ruddy, founder and Chief Executive Officer of the American media company Newsmax.

Ambassador Božović extended his warmest congratulations to Mr. Ruddy on receiving this distinguished recognition, wishing him continued success in his professional career and humanitarian endeavors. On the occasion, he highlighted the importance of the successful and mutually beneficial cooperation between Newsmax and Telekom Srbija, which contributes to expanding Newsmax’s media presence across European markets and strengthening business ties between Serbia and the United States.

In his inspiring remarks, Mr. Ruddy thanked U.S. President Donald Trump, with whom he also shares a personal friendship, for his commitment to supporting children, mothers, and vulnerable members of society. Reflecting on his own family experiences, he emphasized the irreplaceable role of a mother in a child’s life and the importance of a stable and healthy family. He particularly stressed that supporting families and upholding family values is a shared responsibility of governments, businesses, and individuals.
