H.E. Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, Vladimir Božović PhD, attended a ceremonial reception last night at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Washington, D.C., in celebration of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia. On this occasion, he had the opportunity to meet with various diplomats, representatives of the Serbian business and scientific community, business professionals, and numerous representatives of the American administration. He reminded them of the speech of the President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, at the last session of the United Nations Security Council and the need to hear and respect Serbia's perspectives on the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the need to strengthen strategic cooperation with the USA, on which H.E. Ambassador Marko Đurić has been working diligently until now, and for which the Consul General expressed his heartfelt gratitude.
