At the Consulate General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, a lecture was delivered by the eminent Professor Dr. Đorđe Alempijević on the role of forensic medical evidence in assessing violence at international borders. The event was opened by the Consul General of the Republic of Serbia, Vladimir Božović, who warmly welcomed the distinguished lecturer and all guests, emphasizing the importance of professional cooperation and knowledge exchange in the field of forensic sciences. Professor Dr. Alempijević, through an engaging and insightful presentation, introduced the audience to the complexity of forensic medical analyses and their crucial role in protecting human rights and freedoms. On the occasion of the National Day, the National Holiday, the Day of the Army of the Republic of Serbia, and the Great Church Holiday of the Meeting of the Lord, General Consul of the Republic of Serbia in New York, Dr. Vladimir Božović, attended the Holiday Liturgy in the Church of St. Sava in Manhattan, New York. On that occasion, he lit candles for the saints and prayed for all the fallen warriors, knights, heroes, and all who sacrificed their lives for Serbia and its freedom. Glory and thanks to them.
