Statement from Vladimir Bozovic, Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York |
I extend heartfelt congratulations to the American people on the successful and exemplary democratic elections. These elections reaffirm the United States' role as a historical beacon of modern democracy—an ideal that has inspired nations around the world, including Serbia. Throughout this process, I have witnessed the Serbian-American community’s pride in its longstanding contributions to the shared values of freedom and democracy, both historically and in this election. This community remains deeply committed to the principles that unite our nations and reinforce our bonds. Warmest congratulations to President-elect Donald J. Trump. We extend our best wishes for a successful term that brings prosperity to the American people, contributes a more peaceful world, and strengthens U.S.-Serbia relations.
